We have a wonderful opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic and compassionate Health Care Assistant/Support Worker to join us in the Upper Stratton area of Swindon. We have a variety of flexible shifts available, full time/part-time. The facility is a bungalow which is purpose built for the 6 young men who enjoy a whole range interests such as Football, Motorbikes and Motocross racing and of course Formal One. They love a good karaoke and all kinds of music. They have many diverse interests and enjoy a variety of outings. We cannot stress enough how socialable this group of young men are and really appreciative for the support that you could bring.
The individuals we support have significant learning disabilities and complex health needs, therefore each and everyone had very different needs. You will have plenty of time to get to know them. All rooms are personalised and built to the latest National Care standards, including integrated hoist facilities. There is also a wonderful sensory room on site and a spacious garden, where the indivduals can sit, talk and enjoy some outside space.
