About the role

As a Senior Reablement Worker, you will lead and supervise a team of Reablement Support Workers and assist the Team Leader/Registered Manager to deliver a safe and effective service.

You’ll work closely with Occupational Therapists to provide reablement support plans, have responsibility for matching Support Workers to customers, monitoring customer progress and achievement of reablement goals.

This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives.

About you

You should possess a friendly, caring attitude and have previous experience of supervising staff. You must have experience in supporting older adults or adults with physical disabilities, a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), a Driving licence and access to vehicle

Other experience can include: Support Worker, Carer, Personal Assistant, Rehabilitation Worker, Advocacy Worker, Shared Lives Carer, Care Assistant, Care Co-ordinator.

This role requires shift work to meet the needs of the service, which runs between 7am to 10pm 365 days a year; there is a requirement to work on a rota that will cover morning, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
