Senior Commissioning Officer - Technology Enabled Care

Our Technology Enabled Care Advisors will work as part of a wider Commissioning team, under the leadership of the Technology Enabled Commissioning Manager, the role will involve developing and delivering projects that support our Operational and Commissioning teams deliver new services across a wide range of residents to meet a range of care needs through the use of Technology Enabled Care.

This role will have portfolio responsibility for Learning Disability, Mental Health and Autism Spectrum Conditions, but matrix working across portfolios and localities will be expected. You will be required to spend a proportion of your working time in the South of Wiltshire, co-located with the operational teams in the Bourne Hill hub.

As a Technology Enabled Care Advisor you will work alongside the Commissioning Manager and Operational teams to champion the use of Technology Enabled Care by:

  • Delivering a range of care technology projects and training
  • Informing the Technology Enabled Care strategy
  • Supporting the development of Technology Enabled Care delivery and operating models
  • Participating in co-designing and co-producing solutions by supporting stakeholder engagement and consultation
  • Creating Technology Enabled Care performance frameworks
  • Seeking to deliver change, working to influence people and frontline teams.

Although experience of working with technological and digital solutions would be beneficial, we are also looking for someone with experience of undertaking social care assessments in the community or experience of adaptive equipment or telecare.  Experience of working in social care or health would be advantageous.

You will bring with you knowledge and experience of Technology Enabled Care services as well as a customer focused drive, ensuring the residents of Wiltshire have the right services at the right time, catering to meet their needs.

You will be working with a team of Technology Enabled Care Advisors and Commissioning Managers, in what is a fast-paced role, therefore requiring you to be agile, a great communicator and able to lead on multiple projects.
