Taking a new and innovative approach, we have combined our day and respite settings with a fully flexible, empowered, and agile workforce. As a Registered Manager, you will be key to helping us support our customers to live a ‘good life’.

About the role

You will lead our Learning Disability, Day and Respite, and Intensive and Outreach Enablement services and drive the safe and effective management of our Shared Lives Service which offers long-term care or support to people who are unable to live in a home of their own, and who would like to receive support in the family home of a Shared Lives carer.

You will take an active role in the growth of our Shared Lives service, ensuring that we have the best possible staff in place with the right mindset to help us expand this vital and cost-effective service.

You will be part of a leadership team, working across Wiltshire Council’s provider services and will be responsible for ensuring the services deliver the highest standards of care and support.

Key to this role is ensuring that all settings are CQC inspection ready, and that excellent person-centred practice is embedded throughout.

About you

You will be an experienced manager with extensive knowledge and experience of supporting a team and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the complexities of working with vulnerable adults and the support they and their family require.

Interviews will be held on: Wednesday, 11th October 2023.

Interviews can be held both virtually on Microsoft Teams and in person, if your interview is virtual, candidates will be sent a link before the interview to download the Teams App. All current public health advice is followed for candidate and employee safety.
