Registered General Nurse, permanent vacancy for an established Care provider based in Old Town Swindon. Ideally you will have achieved your Level 3 certificate or diploma in care management or equivalent, supported by your active PIN number, a Full UK driving license and access to your own transport.
Working for this well-led residential care facility requires an experienced Registered Nurse, who has had previous exposure to elderly care, physical and/or learning disability management plus the ability to work the necessary shift patterns to accommodate the service and I’s residents. Working as part of the wider Management team, you will have a thorough understanding of the Care Sector regulatory framework, experience of care planning processes and writing complex care plans, ensuring that the delivery of nursing care meets the needs and is gull complaint with the NMC codes of conduct.
As a Registered General Nurse, you will assist with the timely and effective communication of all colleges, maintaining solid communication with all healthcare professionals, ordering and administering medication in line with the facility’s policies and procedures. The ability to train others, coach and develop new and existing skills to their fullest potential is also key to your responsibilities.
The need to maintain communication with family members, other partners, local authority and The CQC all form part of your daily requirements and therefore needs a professional, calm and approachable individual in this role. To enable all residents to receive the appropriate person centered care, whilst respecting and understanding different cultures, religious, emotional and psychological support is fundamental to the desired outcomes for all concerned.
