Part-Time Lone Working Personal Care Assistant required for a 19 hour per week career opportunity, working 3.5 hours per day Monday to Sunday.  This role is a permanent contract and is offered to a naturally caring. Compassionate and kind person who really enjoys caring for others and being involved in activities, assisting with household duties, someone who is sociable with a happy personality.  

This role is primarily about providing support to this lovely young man who has some learning disabilities and lives in their own home in Swindon. The right applicant will be someone who has previous experience in caring for individuals with learning difficulties and epilepsy, with a genuine passion for understanding others, providing support and assists with independent living.

Your main duties as a Part-Time Lone Working Personal Care Assistant will include the delivery of all personal care and hygiene needs, making sure they are appropriately dressed as required, assisting with keeping accommodation tidy and safe, which could include vacuuming, ironing, washing up and more. Providing support to our client is key so they can be enabled to access events and social gatherings in the local area, motivating them to try out new things to stay active, healthy and maintain independence are very important. You will also potentially need to travel to take them to local appointments as required. You will need a full UK driving license with your own vehicle in order to offer transportation to our client at all times.
