Part Time Care and Support Workers
Here at Saracencare we are looking to recruit a number of Care Support Workers in these supported living homes in the Stratton and Gorse Hill areas of Swindon. We need your naturally caring and compassionate personality to help care and support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and other needs. Previous Care experience is not required as we offer an excellent induction and training programe to support your career development.
As a Care and Support worker you will work with a small, experienced team of carers who are responsible for the delivery of care packages to those living in the homes. Taking time to get to know each resident is the key to the success of this role. The range of care will vary between the residents, some require help with personal care, washing, dressing and personal hygiene. Others need you to accompany them on social trips, days out and involvement with hobbies and interests. Overall this is a varied role and focuses on person centered care, ensuring that each and every person is treated with respect and dignity, always looking to encourage confidence and independence.
You will receive a excellent salary and enhanced employee benefits, with plenty of relevant and supported training in order to enhance your own career development and future opportunities when working in the care sector. If you have access to your own vehicle this would be highly advantageous.
We are hoping to attract males and females as our facilities require both, therefore plenty of variety and opportunity for immediate employment. You will need satisfactory employment references, with the Rights to Work in The UK and be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
