Day Shift Support Workers - based Devizes

Day Shift Support Workers required for permanent career opportunities based in Potterne - near to Devizes.  The White Horse Care Trust delivers award winning residential, supported living and nursing care to adults with learning and physical disabilities. We are seeking additional staff to join our team of dedicated and skilled Support Workers. We need your help in one of our friendly home Whistley Dene in Potterne Wiltshire (SN10), where we support a number of ladies and gentlemen.

Our Adults service users live in a lovely residential home in Potterne which is not far from either Devizes or the Lavingtons. 

We are looking for several new staff to join our existing team, to work with us, you will need to have a caring nature, be committed and reliable.  If you are right for this role The White Horse Care Trust will provide full training for all their employees, to help them settle into their new roles.

We are looking for people who will support us to achieve the highest level of independence possible, who will always treat us as individuals, who will help us with personal care and enable us to get out and about, as soon as these current restrictions are lifted.

We really enjoy a variety of activities, so if you like going out and about then this would be fantastic, we love going for a walk, for a coffee or a picnic or maybe to feed the ducks.  

Ideally we need a team who are able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, sleep ins and some bank holidays, when required, as we need your support around the clock.  If you have some restrictions, that is okay, we have a team of bank staff too, who come in and work with us when they have some free time.
