Here at Westwood House, located in the Old Town area of Swindon, Voyage Care provides support for ten people with varying needs including learning disabilities, dual diagnoses and those who have previously experienced secure and mental health services. It offers a positive, supportive home for people who wish to return to community living and develop their skills before moving on to greater independence in the future.

As a Complex Care and Support Assistant, you would receive the very best professional care sector training program, focusing on your future career development and rewarding career in social care.  You could be helping someone with simple daily routines that at present they find challenging, such as washing, dressing or eating. Your duties will also include supporting individuals to access local community facilities, such as education, visiting shops and cafes or parks and helping them with social activities, interests and hobbies. The care and support we provide is life changing for vulnerable people and is tailor made to each and every person.

As a Complex Care and Support Assistant, previous work experience is not necessarily required as we recruit people who are brand new to the sector, offering excellent professional care sector training.  What we value most is your passion, your personality and your willingness to make a difference to the lives of others!

You will be an energetic person with a happy disposition, who enjoys forming relationships with others. Able to communicate well and take on board a range of training courses to meet the needs of the residents in a safe and regulated manner.
