Community Support Workers - 30 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Community Support Workers to complement our current friendly supportive team at Fessey House. Providing practical, emotional and physical support for older people living with dementia and Rehab for service users residents in the Discharge to assess units.
You will be required to continuously assess service users' needs and monitor the aims, objectives and outcomes of the Support/Care Plan. You will administrating prescribed medication to individual service users. Full training will be given to allow you to develop in the role. You will need to be aware and comply with Health & Safety, Manual Handling, COSHH, Food Hygiene, Fire, First Aid and Accident/Incident policies as set down by the organisation.
Ideally, you will have experience of caring for vulnerable older people in the community or a care home environment. You will have sound knowledge of supporting people with dementia, be aware of issues affecting vulnerable people and of anti-discriminatory practice. NVQ level 2 in Care is essential.
Candidates must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act - for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).

These roles are 30 hours per week and day and night shifts are available.
