First City Nursing and Care have a fantastic opportunity that involves supporting people in the local community to live independently at home. The successful candidate will support customers with their day to day routine. We are looking for committed staff to embrace our company ethos and values and provide excellent standards of care to our clients. You will be visiting clients in their own homes during; Mornings, Evenings, Weekends and performing duties such as the following:

  • Assisting with personal care
  • Administering medication
  • Helping service users with their morning and evening routines
  • Preparing meals
  • Light domestic tasks

There will also be other individual requirements outlined in each person-centred support plan

If you're friendly, approachable, empathetic towards others and have the drive to go the extra mile, we are looking for you. Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given although we welcome applications from experienced carers.

If you have the qualities we are looking for and are looking for Full time/ Part Time/ Bank or evening and/or weekend work, this could be the perfect role for you.

Full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role as well as some commitment for morning shifts, evenings and some weekend commitment.

ALL JOBS WITH FIRST CITY NURSING AND CARE ARE SUBJECT TO SATISFACTORY REFERENCES, ENHANCED DBS CERTIFICATE AND FULL COMPLETION OF MANDATORY TRAINING

*Advertised rate for individuals with an NVQ2 or Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care. For those without qualifications the rate will be slightly lower, opportunities for further learning available.
