We are looking to recruit casual Support Workers to join our motivated In-House Respite and Day service.

Casual hours available in Chippenham, Trowbridge, Devizes, Salisbury, and Warminster.

About the role

As a Support worker, you will be part of a motivated and passionate team and will work to deliver support using a person-centred approach, promoting well-being, choices, dignity, and independence.

Customers accessing the service may require support with their personal care needs, social daily living skills and leisure or work activities.

The council is a fantastic place to work; you will receive regular training opportunities to support your role and will undertake a 26-week probationary period with regular meetings to monitor your progress.

About you

You do not need experience in health and social care, although people with experience are welcome. We are looking for enthusiasm, passion, and people who strive to make a difference. 

Basic IT skills are also essential as you will be expected to access training online and write reports. You should also be willing to undertake mandatory training relevant to the role.

Interviews will take place on a rolling basis.
