We are looking to recruit a part time Support Worker to join our motivated team working 20 hours per week.
Our Respite Service provides crucial support for adults with learning disabilities and supports customers with a wide range of varying support needs. As part of our Respite Service, we provide 24-hour care to our customers throughout the year.
Our Day Service works alongside customers to identify and achieve outcomes. Individuals are supported to participate in a wide range of activities based either in the service or in their local community, we provide support to our customers 5 days a week.
About the role
The role of Care Support Worker requires the applicant to work in a person-centred manner, promoting well-being, choices, dignity and independence. Customers accessing the service may require support with their personal care needs, social daily living skills and leisure or work activities.
As a Care Support Worker, you will be expected to work towards leading shifts. There will be an expectation of working between both Respite and Day services if the need arises.
You will receive regular training opportunities to help support you in this role and be supported to undertake a 26-week probationary period with regular meetings throughout the period to monitor progress.

You do not need experience in health and social care, although people with experience are welcome. We are looking for enthusiasm, passion, and people who thrive to make a difference.
Basic IT skills are essential as you will be expected to access training online and write reports. You should also be willing to undertake mandatory training relevant to the role.
