Care Home Administrator, part time vacancy at 12 hours per week. leadng to 30 hours to cover maternity. 

Kingsmead Care Home is currently recruiting for a Home Administrator to join their team. Our Administrators assist the General Manager to ensure the smooth business function of the care home, situated in Old Town Swindon.. This is a position that is central to the lives of the people we support and their families, so great people and communication skills are essential alongside strong administration experience. Previous experience within an administrative environment is essential, with excellent levels of customer services skills. 

You will have excellent planning and organisational skills, exceptional levels of written and verbal communication skills and be able to work as part of a wider team, delivering high standards of administration and customer service skills at all times. To be accountable for the care home’s administrative procedures and to ensure all administrative duties are carried out in accordance with the established procedures. To answer and deal promptly with telephone queries, dealing with daily correspondence including post and emails. 

Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly reports, prepare new starter personnel files including referencing, DBS and terms and conditions of employment.
Maintain employee personnel files and information in accordance with company procedures including, sickness, holiday records and training records, to liaise with payroll with starters and leaver information and prepare contracts for residents, assisting with admissions and discharge forms. Organise staff meetings and prepare minutes as necessary.
