The role of Care and Support worker is based on full time hours, with a need for flexibility on days and working shifts. Afterall, caring for someone doesn’t end on a Friday evening at 5pm! Your working days will be varied, challenging and highly rewarding, ensuring that each and every service-user received the very best care available. It’s about ‘person centred’ care, taking time to get to know and understand the individual and which level of care is needed.

The support is delivered to those who live in their own homes and those in supported accommodation. Offering help to those who seek care and support with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Brain Injuries, Autism, Learning and Physical Disabilities, therefore the need for previous care work experience is necessary.
All care packages are tailored to the needs of the service user, which will include the delivery of personal care, washing and dressing, assisting with indoor and outdoor activities and supporting where needed on ‘days out’, as a companion and as a driver. The need for your own vehicle and a full clean UK licence are essential for this role.
