Bistro Assistant - Permanent Part Time Career Opportunity.
Offered at 11 hours per week, flexible hours with excellent rates of pay and attractive employee benefits, the role of Bistro Assistant will report to the Hospitality manager, working as part of a wider kitchen and catering team.

As Bistro Assistant you will assist all areas of the kitchen and ensure that the nutritional and dietary needs of the residents are at the forefront of your objectives. You will assist in the planning, preparation and delivery/serving of healthy meals, ensuring that all areas of kept clean, that food is prepared to the required Food Safety Standards and that all kitchen equipment and utensils are maintained to the highest spec, reporting any issues or need for replacement with your Line Manager.
Ideally you will have a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, perhaps an NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and be able to work to the strictest of Health and Safety Standards. You will be responsible for checking stock and food levels, be involved in the ordering process working to agreed budget requirements and keep the Manager informed of any shortfalls/concerns.
