Assistant Care Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Care Manager to join the Initial Contact Team in Adult Care. The successful candidate will join a friendly, supportive and dynamic team. We are committed to providing good quality supervision and continuing professional development opportunities.

This is an exciting time to join us in Adult Social Care, as we have just restructured all of the Adult Care Service areas to ensure that we can deliver the best services to residents of Swindon. As an Assistant Care Manager you will work as part of a team supporting residents of Swindon. You will demonstrate good communication skills and enjoy working in a fast pace environment. 

We are interested in applicants who have experience of and a passion to work with adults and are committed to providing a person centred and strengths based approach to their work.  The role entails working in partnership with adults and carers to assess need, set up outcome focussed support plans as appropriate as per the requirements of the Care Act 2014.

Candidates must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
Candidates must have NVQ in Care Level 3 or equivalent.
