We are seeking enthusiastic, fun and caring staff to join our Activities Team.
Do you have experience of working within the Care Industry? Do you have a natural aptitude for engaging with others? Do you find it easy to talk to people? Do you enjoy singing, arts and crafts?
Our Activities Team have a passion for running a wide range of person-centred activities on site at Wemyss Lodge and off site (transport will be provided). Activities provide entertainment for groups of residents and on a 1-to-1 basis. If you are caring, conscientious and confident, this could be the perfect position for you. This is an exciting opportunity as you will be able to get to know our residents. You will understand why it so important to encourage our residents participation and you will have a genuine interest in our residents wellbeing. Being able to initiate a variety of activities with our residents is essential.
Necessary Skills/Requirements
- Care qualifications such as NVQ is highly desirable but not essential
- Experience of working within a Care Home or Day Care Centre would be hugely beneficial
- Highly organised and self motivated
- Friendly and professional manner
- Team Player
