Let’s start

  • To advertise a job you need to register (which is free) and accept our terms and conditions.
  • Go to the employer’s hub tab and select ‘job posting form’ from the drop-down menu.
  • Complete all fields, attach a job description and person specification (if available) and provide information in summary boxes
  • If you have multiple jobs and/or locations, or various hours of work, you may duplicate the ‘job posting form’ at the end to post more than one job
  • Salary options are not required as we will conduct pre-selection interviews for chosen applications to assess requirements in line with relevant experience, core skills and values
  • Complete the travel expenses field if you pay mileage or travel time.
  • Provide organisational details, the specific service provision and main job responsibilities, again with as much information as possible.
  • Always upload a logo, if you have one.
  • Contact details: provide the full site address, community location and if possible attach a map and/or directions
  • Take the time to preview your ‘job posting form’ and submit

Process Summary

  • Once you have submitted your ‘job posting form’ it will be sent to the iCareCareers recruitment team for initial assessment.  We anticipate getting back to you within 24 hours to discuss further and to assess that the job posting covers all relevant points.

  • If your job posting is rejected, or requires further information, you will receive an email explaining why.  Once all has been approved, you job will be advertised by iCareCareers and is usually ‘live’ within 24 hours.  You can then search for your job posting in ‘My Account’ and then ‘Jobs Board’.

  • As soon as applicants apply to your job a member of the iCareCareers team will make contact to start the pre-selection process in readiness for the selection and interview stages.

  • Once you have posted your job, we will provide individual campaign response results, to assess which media source produced the best results for future job posting preferences.

How to post further adverts, edit existing jobs or remove a job

Log into your account and find the job in ‘My Account’ and then ‘Jobs Board’. By hovering over the job you can edit it, mark the post as filled, duplicate, or remove it. We wouldn’t recommend deleting the job as you may want to post it again in the future. If you mark a post as filled this will remove it from the live adverts and store it in your Jobs Board.

If you want to post a similar job (for example, you listed a full-time post and you have the same job but with part-time hours), you can duplicate the advert and simply change the few fields necessary.
